1. A one-off task and recurring work aren't the same product — charging the same rate for both underprices whichever one has ongoing availability and monitoring costs.
2. Split the retainer (capacity, monitoring, response window) from the per-run delivery fee — don't blur them into one number.
3. Cap both dimensions independently: how many runs a retry storm can consume, and how much it can spend — otherwise a bad week can quietly convert a bounded arrangement into an open-ended one.
